Seeking your personal truth is never easy, but once you know why you do what you do you will find peace withing yourself. #awareness #understanding
In our journey of encouraging and developing a certain bond with college students we have noticed that many of them are suffering from what we refer to as Generational Curses. Alina made me aware of this a few months back when she was speaking with a young lady at the university. This came as a shock to me. I have never thought about the possibility that a parent can actually not want a child to go to college. My Generational Curse that was bestowed upon my siblings, my mother and her father was for us to go to college and be the best that we can be. And that is the course that I have passed on to my son. To us going to college was never a question. It was our believe that was a way of life and a passage of life.
Here is a note we received from a young lady from CSUDH. Take a look at the video and the book. Hope you enjoy it and as always, your feedback is welcome.
Hello Michael and Alina,
I truly enjoyed your video. It’s informative, hits home, and is a sincere olive branch to those who seek answers. Loved it!
Thank you for sharing.

A client review: This particular client’s Relationship was on the rocks. Comments like this one fuels me to continue doing what I love. Are you willing to continue to work on your relationship?
Michael is terrific; not only he listens and identifies problems, but unlike other therapists, he will make specific suggestions that his patients can use to address specific situations in their lives. Michael can provide the tools to help resolve conflicts and remedy situations that appear to be insurmountable! I recommend his services with no hesitation.
I don’t often get men willing and wanting to work on their marriage. This particular client was special in the sense that he wanted to make his marriage work even though his wife did not attend any sessions. I gave him the tools that he needed to navigate in his marriage and with his children.
No one said relationships are easy. However, if you are willing to put in the work the outcome can be very rewarding. Find the balance in your relationship. Talk about each-others needs. Communication is key. Ask me about my “7 – Step Guide to Self-Discovery and Awareness”.
